Woman Posts About Dangerously Picking up a Hitchhiker, Reveals That It’s Actually a Stray Dog She Just Found and Names Him Monk

Recently, TikToker Beckalinn aka @found_dog has gone viral for finding a peculiar looking hitchhiker in a park parking lot. After asking around about said hitchhiker, she decided to give it a ride. Picking up hitchhikers is a very dangerous decision and is not encouraged, but in this case it has been praised over and over again. Why? Because the hitchhiker was an abandoned dog. 

“I know this is really dangerous, but I picked up a hitchhiker…”

The sweet multi-colored pittie instantly loved Beckalinn and she named him Monk. She asked around the parking lot to see if he may have an owner near by, but everyone she talked to said that this dog has been roaming around that area all alone for a while now. She knew she wasn't going to leave him to fend for himself any longer, so she took him home. 

She's been trying her hardest to see if there is a family out looking for this boy because he Is just so epically sweet, she assumes he must have already known love from somebody. But, she got him scanned and there was nothing and she's posted all over the internet about him—she even returned to the area and surrounding areas of where she found the pup to see if anybody has posted about him or has asked about him. Still, nothing. 

Monk the Hunk

The dog obviously chose here and doesn't want to do anything more than cuddle, smooch, and go on hikes with his new found human. The woman is still not letting her hopes get too high, because even though it's been a month now, she's still expecting someone to say they've been looking for him. However, she also feels like them meeting is fate.

Beckalinn had a dog named Phil before that would always go on roadtrips with her. The dog, however, made it to a ripe old age before she was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors said she was unable to go into surgery, so she had a summer left, tops. Backalinn decided to give her the best summer of her life before she passed! But, unfortunately, she only lasted a month more. This crushed the TikToker and was still healing when she met the “hitchhiker” dog that she now calls Monk “the Hunk.” 

She feels like her past dog Phil maybe sent Monk to her. It was only a year since Phil had left her side and she wasn't even thinking about getting a new dog any time soon, but Monk came into her life and she's never been happier. 

Fate 

The TikToker is still posting updates of how much fun her and her new dog Monk are getting into, but also about her journey into seeing if he has a family still looking for him. Though she still considers that possible, viewers are telling that Monk is her dog and that it definitely was fate.
