German Shepherds are one of the most intelligent breeds. They are commonly used as working dogs, especially, in police forces and even military. They learn new commands quickly, are extremely loyal, and have been known to save lives before. But the most important thing to remember about a working dog—yes, even German Shepherds—is that they are still a dog. That means they are still going to want to do adorable fun dog things in between being smarty pants helpful companions.
TikToker @ruemorgue.cf posted a perfect example of a German Shepherd just being a dog. It's unknown if this is a working dog, but he sure is a happy pet. The TikToker says it's her brothers dog and this dog had something very important to show her.
It is a very old beat up bucket. You can tell this dog has put some love and mileage on this baby, because it looks like it's been all bitten up and bounced around. The dog trots over to the TikToker holding the bucket ever so gently in its mouth like he was showing this person his own baby. He comes up, lays the bucket down and starts pawing at it like a happy excited pup.
After a quick paw session with the bucket, he starts running around with it. Not holding it in his mouth like a ball or a stick, oh no, this is a way more advance dog toy. The dog somehow gets the bucket on his head and starts running around with it adding innermitten little hops of excitement between the blind zoomies.
He's so happy running around blind with this bucket over his head that his tail is viciously wagging the entire time. The TikToker just says to the dog, “yeah, that's… that's something…” Seeing such a large dog that's usually portrayed in the working environments this type of breed is put in, acting like a normal adorable silly little dog is so wholesome I might explode.
Ahhh, to be a dog happily running around with a bucket on your head. That sounds like the life to me! Not a care in the world—it's just you and your bucket carefree having the best time ever. To see any dog this happy about a beat up ‘ole bucket is already adorable, but one that’s usually seen as a narc, it's just inexplicably serene.
