Nothing warms our hearts like seeing a blatant liar get caught up in their web of dumb lies. Redditor u/DensitySquared got an opportunity to do just that, based on this story from r/TalesFromTheFrontDesk. Our hero described an old job working at the front desk of an apartment complex and said that one night after hours, while he was waiting for the owner to arrive, a woman arrived at the building and demanded to view an apartment. She even claimed to be friends with the building's owner as some sort of justification for why she needed to see an apartment late at night — but funnily enough, when the owner showed up just then, the woman lost her mojo and left.
What's the point of claiming you know the owner of a building like this when you very clearly don't? It's the kind of claim that goes right down the drain when the owner shows up, which you'd think this person would have realized. Madness.
