Dogs 'Dismounting' Sofas In The Laziest Ways (Tweets)

Whoever said that dogs are lazy, you... are right. Yeah, okay, you're right. They may have infinite energy when they want to go on a walk or when they see a cat on the street... or when you ask them what they have in their mouths. But when it comes to everything else, yeaaah, they're pretty lazy.

So, when a tweet went viral of an owner sharing the weird way in which its dog "dismounts" the sofa, a bunch of other dog owners began sharing the same. And you know what, protect our pooches as we may, we can still definitely laugh at their ridiculousness of their laziness in these tweets. And we can also relate to it... because same.

Yes. The answer is yes. The amount of people who replied to this tweet with pictures of their own dog being a lazy weirdo like that should be proof enough. But personally, yes as well. Our dogs are so lazy, they not only dismount the sofa in the dumbest way possible but also continue to slide to the floor slowly, glancing up at us, until they flop onto the floor. They're perfect, we love them.

Honestly, we're not even going to lie, this is a strangely relatable thing to our lazy human selves. It's the perfect recreation of the way that I tried to reach for the remote yesterday without leaving the couch. Ironically, it took a lot more effort to get it this way than if I would have gotten up, but... it's the principle of the matter, and I think this dog understands that.
