It seems that Maya - the name given to the rescued dog by Denton's young daughter Sienna - will fit right into this family who have lost a dog of their own a short while prior.

"There's six of us all together. By the time we all crowded in there and she got to meet everybody, after five minutes she was kissing the girls and everything," Denton said, adding that his wife and children immediately fell in love. "They really liked her and she was really good," he says. "We knew it was a done deal."

We wish Maya and her new family many, many happy years together and hopefully no more rescue missions. We're not worried about her though, she's in good hands now.
