Real Animals Too Weird To Look Real (Tweets)

If you have ever spent some time on the internet looking through animal pictures, you know that there are some insanely weird animals out there in the world. The kind of animals that just do not look real, the kind of animals that you look at and think that there is no way something like this exists in the real world, you will not believe it unless you see it.

We, as animal connoisseurs, have gotten used to coming across weird animals online, but when regular twitter users encountered them, hilarity ensued. And we just had to share it.

Agreed. Or at least that is the excuse that we'll give to any person who claims they know a cute animal. You have an adorable itty bitty kitten that fits right into the palm of your hand? there are some animals out there that I refuse to believe are real until I get to see them... and pet them.

But for real though, we have seen pictures and videos and gifs of platypuses, and we still don't believe that they are real. So that's totally excusable. But a flamingo? What's so weird about a perfectly pink bird that stands on one incredibly thin fragile-looking leg? Nothing. It's perfect.
