Witty Disney Princess Memes Which May Very Well Ruin Your Childhood

Disney Princesses were a core part of many of our childhoods. They were who we aspired to be, and had such magnificent lives that we could only dream of having. But they also made a lot of very questionable decisions. If you rewatch the movies once you're grown up, it's hard not to notice all the plot holes, dirty jokes, and extreme gender roles portrayed in the films. But hey, that's showbiz I suppose. Nowadays I think they put in more effort to avoid such 'choices.' We see more and more attempts for gender and cultural inclusivity as well, so that's definitely a start. It's impossible to look at the older movies and not see them completely differently as we realize some of the jokes we're not actually intended for children. Oops.

Oh, this one hits hard. It has major 'You vs the girl he tells you not to worry about' vibes. But I love the creativity. We could spend days going over all of the questionable choices made in Aladdin. Such as middle-eastern stereotypes, cultural inconsistencies, the fact that nobody has an Arabic accent except for the villains. But I'll just stop there.

Yep, this is a common theme in Disney princess movies. Kiss the princess while she's mute, sleeping, unconscious, held captive... Basically, if she seems like she can't fully consent you're all good to go.
On another note though, Eric's eyes are very dreamy, and Ariel is a ginger queen!
