It's very exciting that society has seemingly finally reached a point where most empathetic people do not use 'That's so gay' as an insult. Meaning, homosexuality is more normalized today than it was when millennials were growing up. But, that being said, there were so many things that people deemed not fit for straight men, and those comments definitely linger in your mind, even if you know it was a ridiculous statement.
On Reddit, straight men are revealing the ridiculous things they were cautioned not to do because such things were 'too gay.'
It was Reddit user u/The_WereArcticFox who asked the straight men of Reddit to share the ridiculous things that they were cautioned not to do because it would supposedly make them gay, or make people think they were gay. Oh no! Which is worse?!
This is a fair example to start off with. For some reason, you don't see a lot of guys going out on one-on-one dinners. I see women doing it all the time, and they will often literally call them 'dinner-dates.' But maybe we're not there yet with men. Interesting...
