A lot of parents place excessive pressure on their children to bring them, grandchildren. It's nothing new, and if you plan to have kids anyway, it's not such a big deal. But not everyone wants children, and we don't 'owe' our parents grandchildren. If they want to take care of something so badly, invest in some kind of house-pet, or succulent. If one's parents are understanding, eventually they should be able to respect that their children don't want to have kids. But some parents can just get more and more obsessed with the lack of toddlers in their life and just progressively lose their sh*t.
