Australians Brutally Roast American Food, And It Gets Personal

It really can feel like other countries love sh*tting on American culture, and honestly, we deserve it sometimes. We ain't perfect, we got our issues. We don't have free education, high-speed trains, or Kinder eggs — It's honestly a toss-up on which one is the most important of the three. For the most part, we can handle the outside criticism because, as they say, haters gonna hate. But once you start coming for our food it gets personal. Yes, our cheese can come out of a can, what of it?

    Honestly, this one hurts only because it's so true. Our portions are ridiculous, we do love our corn starch, and our cheese is, well, no 100% cheese. But at least our corn is top-notch. Beat that.

I used to trade food pics with a group of friends who were all decent cooks and liked to discuss food/recipes etc, but the two Americans in the group would always post beige or brown pics of fried something with chips. There were no vegetables or colours. Made for boring pics. They could make interesting desserts, but I'd never eat the kind of stuff they posted a
