Oof we absolutely hate to see animals that are injured, or in pain. However, it fills our hearts with hope and wholesome goodness when kind folks passing by manage to spot this phenomenon and promptly intervene! We truly believe that it is part of our responsibility as humans on earth to protect our fellow animal species and always lend a helping hand!
Today an Imgur user came across an injured red-tailed hawk and immediately intervened. Let's learn a bit more about red-tailed hawks shall we? According to All About Birds: "This is probably the most common hawk in North America. If you've got sharp eyes you'll see several individuals on almost any long car ride, anywhere. Red-tailed Hawks soar above open fields, slowly turning circles on their broad, rounded wings." Our bird in question was taken to the nearest vet who could accommodate her! We wish her a super speedy recovery.
It was immediately noticeable that this birb was having some issues with her wing and was unable to fly.
Little guy's left wing looks a bit off. Sad face.
Ms. Birb has become a bit suspicious of his knight in shining armor, rust has yet to be built.
Let's check out some of this birb's red-tailed hawk cousins in full health! They are super majestic birds. Check out the intensity in their eyes and the freedom in their wings!
