Gender Double Standards That People Can Barely Believe Still Hold In 2021

Gender double standards are everywhere. Children still call certain colors 'boy colors' and 'girl colors.' Most women's jeans still have un-functional pockets, and men still get judged for caring about things like fashion, beauty, cooking. Obviously, this isn't the situation in every single community around the world... But these ridiculous double standards are clearly not dead. It's especially frustrating these days because there has been so much progress made in the past 100 years, but unfortunately, there's still a long way to go.

This is so classic. It's the same situation at hardware stores, used-car dealerships, even restaurants. If you're in a store with a man, you're already an owned object so nobody will look you in the eyes and talk to you directly. How is this still a thing?
