Everyone has their own idea of what "proper parenting" means. For some of us, parenting is "let them find out the stove is hot by letting them touch it once." For others, parenting is "let them find out the stove is hot by daring them to touch it." And for other parents, it's "the stove is fun and not dangerous at all. Now tape this money to your chest and if they ask you anything, pretend that you can't speak." You know, parenting.
But no matter the quality of parenting, it's never fun to have someone else come in and tell you you're doing it wrong.
We've all had some bad houseguests and minor problems with family, but to have someone insist that you're parenting incorrectly, throw away all your expensive baby stuff, then complain that they can't afford to replace it? That's some wild entitlement right there. For another fun one, here's a woman who stole what she thought was a pregnancy test, announced her pregnancy, and was wrong.
