Man Expects Girlfriend To Merge Finances And Help Support His Children

Talking about money can be pretty uncomfortable, especially when it's tight. It always feels good to help out people financially when you can, but it's never nice to have such a favor be expected of you. We are not entitled to share our money with anyone we don't want to. Sure, it's common for people to merge bank account when they get married, but what if they both want to be able to be financially secure in case something goes wrong? We can't be too safe out here, we're all aware of the 50% divorce rate, right?
