Design Failures That Could Have Used Some Effort

Why should anything ever be done correctly? Yeah we have all these "basic standards of living and decency" to contend with, but those are up for interpretation. There's no reason that a stop sign shouldn't be painted green and say "stahp." Okay, maybe one or two reasons. But it's not like anyone will trace it back to you after the inevitable disaster you've caused. Just live your life. Road signage is more of an art than a science anyway.

We're not gonna complain about people accidentally screwing up their sign so that their dance recital becomes a "dunce rectal." In fact, we'd prefer that it happens more. That and improperly installed toilets. We'd love to see a toilet so improperly installed that if anyone ever tried to sit on it, they'd break their back. So go on and make sure that design failures fill up our stupid world. Really lean into it. Just don't try at all.
