Not all of us can be effortlessly outgoing in every context. Honestly, that sounds hella exhausting. How do you wake up every morning and decide, "I'm going to make conversation with everybody that comes my way!" Sure, it's probably a better way to make friends, but friends are overrated anyway. Unless they fully get what is it to be shy. Being shy is a lifestyle, not one that we all chose, it's more like it found us. Often times the shy gang is misunderstood. On the first impression, people often find us stand-offish but that couldn't be farther from the truth. We want to get to know people, but just at our own pace. And even if we do really vibe with someone, we will still definitely need our alone time. But we promise it's worth the long haul!
