Why does it seem like movie couples always break up for the most shallow issues? Sure, a lot of the time it is to advance the plot, and they'll probably just end up together in the sequel - But we can't help but think how much time would be saved if they just signed up for a couples therapy consultation. Remember in Notting Hill when Julia Roberts completely flipped a sh*t at Hug Grant for calling the paparazzi to his house when it was actually his roommate that did it? Yeah, well that miscommunication definitely would have been addressed if they had just gone to a single appointment. Just some food for thought.
