Girlfriend Accused of Living A Double Life After Changing Name And Hiding Money From BF

This young couple is learning one of life's most important lessons early - keep your finances to yourself until the relationship gets more serious. The OP in this story is accusing his girlfriend of living a secret life because of some suspicious behavior she exhibited in front of old friends. She is a self-proclaimed 'broke college student' that somehow can afford lavish vacations and a new car from her dad. OP is definitely a jealous boyfriend type but are his claims valid?     Rectangle - el_huggo · 15h Yep. OP is just jealous because he thought he was a big shot, that she'd be impressed by his car/money. But there is always somebody with more money, a flashier car, etc. and when OP came to realize she grew up around people who are actually wealthy, he couldn't handle it. Clearly she chose him for other reasons, but OP is too insecure to recognize that and instead lashed out at her. Hope she dumps him. OP YTA.
