In case you haven't heard, Tick, Tick... Boom! is the musical must-watch of the season. Move over Spiderman, Jonathan Larson is the theatre super-hero of our dreams. Lin-Manuel Miranda directed a beautiful and powerful musical theatre film that will make you want to watch it twice. The new Netflix release features the vocal talents of Andrew Garfield, Alexandra Shipp, Vanessa Hudgens and Joshua Henry, just to name a few. There's an array of legendary Broadway staples making cameos. I kept screaming names at the TV as they made their appearances. There are so many special/secret nuggets of Broadway magic sprinkled throughout the whole film. Not to mention - Andrew Garfield can SINGGG! Why has he been hiding all of that vocal ability under the Spiderman costume? This film put a lot of big life moments into perspective. It's got me so jazzed, I'm going to watch it for a second time right now. What are you doing? Go watch it!
