Power Of Love: Before And After Adoption Glowups
It can be heartbreaking to learn that not every dog or cat in the animal shelter will be adopted into their furrever home. Sadly, not every animal is that lucky, which breaks our hearts here at I Can Has Cheezburger. That's why we love showing photos of the puppers and kitties who have found wonderful homes and are thriving. Every week, we highlight some of the amazing transformations that occur when a newly adopted animal is showered with love and affection, pampered, and given an amazing new life to live.
To be honest, seeing spectacular before and after images of a neglected animal and the subsequent transformation it undergoes into a healthy and happy pet just makes super emotional, we can't help it! After such sad beginnings, these animals will get the amazing opportunity to enjoy a happy ending for the rest of their lives! And so will the amazing hoomans who adopted them. We are just so happy that these animals got the second chance they deserved. The transformations that can occur even in a relatively short amount of time can be drastic! It just goes to show that the power of love goes a heckin' long way!

"Welcome home Ralph!" (before)
Wow, just look at this poor pupper's face, he looks so scared and afraid to trust his new owner. Last month was Pitbull awareness month, and one of the sad facts we learned last month was that Pitbulls are very unlikely to get adopted at the same rate as other dog breeds, people are really scared of them. We're so happy that someone adopted Ralph, he looks like such a special and fun loving doggo!

Awww, we gotta fight back the emotion on this one. Just look at how happy and calm Ralph seems now that he's found his forever home. Sweet Ralph, just sitting there napping, he's such a good boy isn't he? Congratulations to Ralph and also to his hooman on starting a beautiful new life together as man and man's best friend. What a truly wonderful ending to the story!
