The holidays are upon us, which means millions of retail workers are bracing themselves for another hellish shopping season. Not only grocery store clerks expected to work on Thanksgiving so that you can grab that celery and cranberry sauce you forgot to pick up the day before, many of them have to do it with a smiling face while 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' plays every hour on the hour. It ain't much, but at least there are groups like Retail Worker Confessions, where people can vent about nasty customers and post relatable memes. We've collected some of our favorite recent posts from the group so that retail workers everywhere know they're not alone. Remember to be nice to workers.
This post really resonated with us. The "thank yous" given by corporate are almost always piddling. A $25 gift card to the store where you work. A cupcake. A cold slice of pizza at the "pizza party" filled with dissatisfied workers. Miss us with that sh*t.
