According to Love Meow, from the moment the kittens got into the house, they were ready for a new life. They immediately checked out their kitty room and started running around as if they owned the place. And they got used to Asa just as quickly, all of them crawling into her arms or onto her shoulders. The five of them collectively decided that she's a much better place to nap on than their beds.

"They have been super friendly and cuddly since day one," Asa said. "The two boys (Joe and Mr.Bean) curl up in my lap every chance they get while the three girls (Miss Tash, Cappuccino, and Inés) prefer to use me as a cat tree."

Soon enough, their -year-old resident dog, Kona, figured out that the kittens were in, and she was over the moon excited. Kona loves every single foster that her mom brings home, and she has helped many, many kittens in need over time. It took a few weeks for the kittens to be cleared medically, but the second they were, Kora was more than happy to meet them. "She realized the moment we brought the kittens home and was eagerly and anxiously waiting, watching them from outside their pen with non-stop tail wags."

From their behavior with Asa - the immediate cuddles and snuggles, it was obvious that the kittens missed their mom. So, when it was time to introduce them to the rest of the house, Kona was ready and went right to the kitten pen, and watching her with them was like watching her getting reunited with her own babies.

"She was beyond excited. Her tail wouldn't stop wagging and she went up to each and every one of them to give them kisses," Asa said. "The kittens took no time to acclimate to her either. They immediately started climbing on top of her, playing with her ears and legs, cuddling up next to her to take a nap."

"She's always been amazing with kittens and it's no different with this bunch. She's been counting down the days until she could officially meet them, and now that she has, she just wants to hang out with them all the time and refuses to leave the pen," Asa continued, talking about how the kittens would purr and surround their new dog momma, soaking up all the love.

"They are all pretty enamored with Kona but if I were to pick, I'd say Mr. Bean (the ginger kitten) is most in love with her," Asa added. Mr. Bean loves wrapping his arms around Kona and purr himself to sleep.

It is clear that the kittens are so, so happy with their new surrogate mom, getting all the snuggles and love that they want. We can only hope that the people who will adopt these cuties and give them their forever home will match up to her superior mothering abilities.
