Everybody has tough days — especially Redditor u/572xl, who posted to r/pettyrevenge about how they had enough of unreasonably rude customers at their old job delivering food via Grubhub and Doordash.
When one customer placed an order and kept calling OP to yell because they couldn't handle a mere 15-minute wait, OP decided to inflict some wait-time pain and sat down at the restaurant he was picking up the food at and had a meal himself.
At the end of the day, we're all consumers. When we place an order, we want it to arrive and be in our hands ASAP. However, we're all human and we need to understand that things don't just appear magically, there are thousands of delivery folks from all walks of life that are working their behinds off to get us the things we need. These hardworking folks are overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. Think about that next time you place an order, and be kind. Simple as that.
