Almost no one will tell you it's a good idea to microwave a hard boiled egg. The heat can cause just enough pressure to build up inside to make it handle-able while also potentially explosive, turning it into something like an unpredictable grenade. Just about the worst case scenario occurred here, when an egg blew up in this person's face. Here's a video on a microwaved egg itself proving why it shan't be played with.
