18-year-old cuts off entitled friend after she shows up 6 hours late and revs her motorcycle at 4:00 AM in a quiet HOA neighborhood: 'Worst friend ever!'

Part of being a teenager is about learning who your real friends are. This 18-year-old learned that the hard way after her messy, unreliable friend became a nuisance in her parents' neighborhood in the middle of the night. 

There are numerous examples illustrating why this "friend" was no real friend at all, but first, it's worth expanding upon her own chaotic nature. This is someone who managed to buy a motorcycle without a license, a permit, or her parents' permission. Naturally, it took next to no time before she got into an accident, but thankfully, it was minor and no one was injured. Not long after that debacle, this young woman had the audacity to show up to her friend's house, revving her motorcycle loudly at 4:00 AM, six hours after she was supposed to be there. On top of that, the disruptive noise upset several folks in the neighborhood and could have easily caused drama with their strict HOA. 

Thankfully, as this drama was unfolding, the 18-year-old author had enough sense to know right then and there that this "friend" was too much to deal with moving forward. Not only was she not allowed in her parents' house that night, but she wouldn't be allowed to come over there ever again.

  • Look, I am not one to say that teenagers shouldn't explore and have fun every once in a while, but actions have consequences. Most importantly, dangerous and manipulative behavior shouldn't be tolerated no matter how cool this author's friend thinks she is. Treating your friends like garbage is just not cool, regardless of how you try to spin it.
