Negotiation is a weird and terrible art. Everyone makes all these assumptions about what they should expect from a deal, but when someone makes it clear they're not willing to negotiate reasonably, or one party takes things personally, the gloves come off and things get wacky. That's exactly what happened in this r/ChoosingBeggars post from Redditor u/LongGoneWind, who just wanted to sell their car and came across a frustrating person determined to negotiate until the last absolute moment. It looks like this person didn't even come to view or purchase the car when they said they would and suddenly started lowballing our OP here. Not cool, not fair. The user just wants to sell his car; it's crazy how difficult it can be to get people to cooperate.
For another wildly entitled person, here's a low baller who wanted a guitar built but didn't understand why that should cost money.
