Sometimes your true family isn't blood-related. Redditor u/LivingBunch6371 took to the popular subreddit r/ProRevenge to share this story about how they reacted to their in-laws kicking their 18-year-old sister-in-law out of the house and stealing her high school savings after she came out as trans, and how they and their employer reacted. See, the OP here explains that her father-in-law's main client was their employer — and through quite a bit of hard work, they managed to convince their employer to stop doing business with OP's father-in-law and find a way to put their money elsewhere.
OP waited for their business to stop doing business with FIL until the in-laws started renovating their house — in the end, they had to sell their house to save their own business. The same house they kicked their 18-year-old child out of.
We can't count the number of stories we have seen where the connection between "family" members ended with their blood. Sometimes you have to choose your family and sometimes, if you're lucky, your family will choose you. This trans-daughter is incredibly fortunate to have her brother and sister-in-law in her life. Her parents though sound like absolutely terrible human beings. For more awful in-laws, check out the father-in-law who freaked out at a woman trying to breastfeed her baby in public.
