Senior Cat Foster Fail Shows Off Dechonkification Transformation: Reddit Thread
We always appreciate a senior cat adoption story, and when it's also a foster fail? Double wholesome goodness. Beanbag here was recently adopted at a morbidly obese weight and has been working together with her humans on an amazing dechonkification process. According to the original poster: "Beanbag has made steady progress the past 6+ months. She came to us morbidly obese at 15.7lb on her small frame. Per the vet, her goal weight should be <9lb."
Now, let's start by saying that Beanbag here is one of the cutest chonks we have ever had the honor of laying our eyes on. And when she stands up to beg, not even we would be able to resist giving her treats. But, no! She has been watching her waist (for health purposes!) and it shows. Nice work, Beanbag.

OP, you are amazing! There are not many people out there who are happily willing to foster and adopt a senior cat, but after taking one look at Beanbag it's clear that it is easy to fall in love with her.

Like, come on. Look at those innocent eyes. Those curled-up armsies. The pointed ears. And most importantly of all, the lil tummy that has recently undergone an impressive dechonkification process.
