This woman is being extremely reckless. It's already such a risk to be on a motorcycle at all, but she obviously needs to take the necessary protective measures so in the event of a crash or injury, she's in better shape than being essentially skinned alive. He's right to insist on safety first.

Man spends $1,000 on safety gear so girlfriend can wear it on his motorcycle, he insists she protect herself despite her pleas to go with only a tank top and shorts
Welcome back lovers, ladies, and gentlemen of the internet. Relationships are full of life lessons. When one is in a relationship, it's like a mirror is pointing at them at all times. There's nowhere to run and hide, and you find out things about yourself you didn't expect. You may have all these ideas in your mind about how level-headed you are, or how stable, calm, and collected. You may see yourself as highly rational and reasonable. The thing about relationships is that it can strip us of everything we once thought we were. Seeing yourself as a logical, rational person may absolutely go down the toilet once you're muddled and engrossed in feelings of love, longing, and obsession towards someone. Or it could be the opposite; maybe you fall in love and you find yourself closing off to someone.
Regardless of how you actually are in relationships, they show us a lot of truths, and they're never easy to manage. In the story below, the protagonist is a man who's a biker, and his motorcycle is a huge part of his life. His girlfriend may have a knack for danger, and as a girl I can relate. But there's a difference between being safe, and just being plain reckless.
