Vegan Roommate Refuses To Let Her Cat Eat Meat, Internet Weighs In

There are many vegetarian animals out there that make great pets. For example, super tiny bunnies who will melt your heart are both awwdorable pets and awwdorable vegetarians. Of for those who want a bigger pet, you can even adopt an 175 pound giant tortoise, they're pretty heckin' cute! And despite their size, they're actually quite gentle. Unfortunately cats are not vegetarian, and they eat a ton of meat, both as domestic cats and in the wild. 

So what would you do if your roommate announced they were going to adopt a pet cat, and then told you they would only be feeding that cat a vegan diet? Pretty crazy right? Well that's exactly what happened to this Redditor, whose roommate claimed the vegan diet they were planning for their cat would be healthy, and then lied about it to an animal shelter!
