Hi friends! How many of you have heard of arctic hares before? Similar to the arctic fox, who are also floofy and native to cold and snowy environments, the arctic hare is a is a species of hare highly adapted to living in the Arctic tundra, and when winter comes, their fur transforms from a normal brown color to white as snow! There's nothing quite like the magic of the arctic…
Living in a harsh yet beautiful landscape full of abundant white snow has made this species into an equally harsh but incredible beautiful animal. Under the kinds of temperatures that make us humans want to hide at home, winter animals of the arctic like these arctic hares thrive. In fact these hares, which look like cuddly wuddly bunnies, are fierce wild animals, but get to know them and they are honestly just as pure as snow, both because of how perfectly white they are, and also because at the end of the day they're cute rabbits. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this arctic hare roundup!
Michael is so right, arctic hares truly are a super cool species. We just love how floofy and awwdorable these little guys are. Like tiny little fuzzy igloos, they must need all of this fur to keep themselves warm in those harsh arctic winters they live through every year.
Jeepers, that's pretty heckin' fast! We wonder whether arctic hares go this fast out of necessity or for fun. Imagine walking around the arctic and just spotting one of these little guys zooming towards you at 40 miles an hour. We would be absolutely smitten but also a little wigged out.
