Every Friday, we bring you a whole new collection of awwdorable animal adoption stories. Because we know that if there is one thing that will make any animal person smile, it's a whole bunch of animals finding their forever homes.

As we always do, we would like to say thank you to everyone who adopted this week. Whether you adopted a kitten, a doggo or anything else. And of course, an extra special thank you goes to those of you who adopted senior pets, pets with health or behavioral issues, or pets that have been rehomed multiple times. The journey with them may not be the easiest, but it will certainly be worth it.

"This Cecil. I adopted him through the Starbucks drive thru. The customer showed me a passenger seat full of kittens and said "do you want a kitten?" And I said "absolutely I do". I took the kitten, put him in my apron pocket, and asked to go home early. Cecil is now six."
