Being ghosted after a date sucks, but we all gotta admit that we've done it. If we haven't done it, then our friends have. Does it make us mediocre communicators? Maybe. But does it make us terrible people? Definitely not. Twitter user @kathbarbadoro called people out for equating ghosting with gaslighting and love-bombing, when the latter is much more serious than ghosting. We may not like being ghosted, but we need to grow TF up and move on with our lives instead of making it out to be something it's not and being overdramatic about someone who clearly doesn't care about us anyway. These days, when a conversation surrounding ghosting comes up, West Elm Caleb - the infamous ghoster of NYC dating apps - obviously makes it into the conversation. Have a look at the heated Twitter thread below, and share your thoughts in the comments.
Ghosting shouldn't be equated with gaslighting and love bombing when it's not even close.
Some people are sh*tty, but ghosting still shouldn't be considered abusive.
