24 Adorable Wild Animal Memes for a Feral Friday Fun

Let's prepare ourselves for the weekend with all the wildlife wholesomeness and animal adorableness that can inspire us!

There are many ways that a person can prepare themselves for an upcoming weekend. But as animal lovers, we like one specific way - getting inspired by all the wildlife that fits a day's narrative. But how can you do the same? Let us give you the examples:

First, we enter weekend mode on a Friday night - because if we can start a weekend earlier, why wouldn't we? We're going to make this night matter, like a fox. They might look sleepy-eyed, but they're wide awake once the sun goes down. Foxes spend their nights running through fields, sniffing out snacks, and darting around with quick steps. It's starting the weekend with an enthusiastic little night shift, complete with adorable yips the whole time.

For Saturday, we intend to channel the most recovery-oriented wildlife critter we can think of - the sloth - to heal that Friday night lack of sleep. With up to 20 hours of rest a day, usually hanging snugly from a branch, sloths are the Saturday kings. They're round, fuzzy, and completely committed to doing absolutely nothing. When they do move a little, it's mostly just to nibble some leaves (which is the equivalent of going to the fridge for a little snack) before dozing right back off. The gold standard of a sleepy Saturday.

And then we have Sunday, the last day to make sure we got everything we can out of the weekend. We could go for a swim on these last hot days, keeping dolphins in mind. Dolphins can travel for miles, but they also stick close to their pod so no one drifts alone. They surf along waves for fun and use sponges as tools to protect their snouts while foraging. Dolphins are resourceful and playful, never wasting a good day on the water - like we intend to do this Sunday.

Got it? It's not that hard. Now, let's go and make this weekend awesome pawsome, just as all the wildlings do.
