Entitled Idiot Wants Their Deposit Back After Last-Minute Cancelling of Appointment, Gets Trolled

There's something in the term "non-refundable deposit" that this guy just isn't getting about his request for a deposit refund. Yes, a deposit secures an appointment slot for you. Yes, that means that this spot is reserved for you. Even if you can't make it, that spot is still saved. The deposit will remain with your spot. Securely holding your booking for you despite your nonattendance.

Now that we've cleared that up…

When Kaynon's client canceled on them the client was quick to request their deposit back "via paypal or venmo", not even waiting for a confirmation of their cancellation. Kaynon replied that they had thoroughly expressed the terms of the agreement at the time that the appointment was placed and that the client would not be receiving their deposit back.

The client lost it, calling Kaynon a scammer and telling them to attend a business school. It wasn't until Kaynon explained to the client that they had attended business school together that the client was forced to pause and recalculate.
