Two Legs
These goats live Green Finned Hippy Farms in Illinois! St. Louis Mag reports that the goats are very cuddly and that it's okay to come just to hang out with them. The goats are trained from when they're babies to be around people. The farm hosts events when they're extra small where people can come hang out with the baby goats without yoga too!

They're Heavy
Men's Journal also reports that the goats aren't as light as they look. Some of them weigh upwards of 60 pounds! Luckily that can feel like a nice massage when they climb on you, but the farm will teach you how to make sure the goats don't climb on you if that's not what you're looking for.

Humble Origins
According to Backyard Goats, photographer Lainey Morse started goat yoga by accident. When she was going through tough times, she took solace in her goats and sometimes invited friends who needed a pick-me-up for "Goat Happy Hour" too. One day, an acquaintance asked Lainey if she could host a yoga class at her farm. Lainey said sure, but the goats would be climbing on them and hanging around. And thus…goat yoga was born!

World Records
You might be surprised to learn that there is a goat yoga world record on the books! It was set in Florida in 2019 by Grady Goat Foundation. The class had 501 people and 115 goats. This foundation actually fights human trafficking and used the world record to raise awareness for their cause.
