Twitter Thread: Carnival Promotes Giant Rat Viewing, Woman Kicked Out For Revealing Dupery

Hey friends! When was the last time you went to a carnival? We can barely remember the last time we went, but we have such fond memories from childhood of going to our local carnivals, playing games, and winning cool prizes. The best prizes were the stuffed animals, obviously. Well, not everyone has such fond carnival memories. 

The original poster of this hilariously ridiculous Twitter thread was straight up duped when a carnival charged him a whole dollar to see the world's largest rat. Turned out, the rat was no rat, it was a big old capybara, and OP revealed this lie to the rest of the viewers! Well, the carnival organizers did not like that she had exposed them, so she was kicked out of the giant rat tent. And without a refund at that! RIP to OP's dollar, she will not be seeing that again. 

Capybaras are the world's largest rodents, so they do share some cousins with rats, but they are their own species entirely! If you're a long-term reader of ICanHasCheezburger, then you'll know by now that capybaras are taking over the world, and they started with this carnival, apparently.

    Somebody get this person a refund! That is a whole dollar that they will never see again, and all for a falsely advertised 'giant rat.'
