OP has a 4 year old son from a past fling. The father is not in the picture. But she does have a boyfriend (25M) who she's been dating since for 2 years. Although the boyfriend has a great bond with OP's son, she's never left them alone for longer than 20 minutes. It takes time to build that level of trust. She was hesitant about it, but she needed a sitter so she could attend her sister's bachelorette party. She decided to say yes to him because he had never done anything wrong by her or her son... (yet). The night of the party, she called to check in on the babysitting because she 'was anxious as hell.' He made matters worse by not picking up a single call. She decided to leave early to go home. When she went inside, her boyfriend had a bunch of his friends in the living room. They were playing games and drinking. There was alcohol everywhere. Her son was in bed thankfully but you can imagine her fury. She said he was f*cking useless and un-trustworthy. He feigned innocence and said he did nothing wrong. He was 'just hanging with his friends and looked after her son as promised." What do and the moral judges of Reddit think?
The proof is pretty much in the pudding right there.
