Celebs are always preaching spreading positivity and light in the world on their social media platforms, which is wonderful. The thing is that not all of them practice what they preach. We're always hearing stories from people who have worked with certain celebs who have behaved horrendously and treated them like garbage, then go on social media again to post about spreading rainbows and butterflies to the rest of the world. A prime example of this would be Ellen, who displayed a facade of kindness on television, only for fans to discover that she's not so nice behind the scenes and that her employees have described the show as a toxic workplace. In short, everything is not as it seems. There are also other celebs that people would assume are mean solely because they have resting b*tch faces, but they're actually super kind IRL. It's all about perception and deception. In an AskWomen post, women discussed which celeb women seem like they would be mean girls. They may not actually be mean IRL, but the vibes they put out rubbed Reddit women the wrong way. There are also women in the thread that have actually been proven to be the worst. Have a look, and share your own opinions in the comment section.
We obviously don't actually know these women, but they're in the spotlight so often that we feel like we know them from seeing them in movies, tv shows, ads, interviews, and the red carpet, of course. It's like meeting a girl at a party and getting bad vibes from them within the first five minutes of the conversation. Sure, the girl might be super sweet in a different context, but if we got bad vibes from her within those first five minutes, we're going to perceive her in a certain way. Maybe this isn't fair of us, but we can't help it. We're human.
As we mentioned before, Ellen has been exposed as a mean girl. Nobody expected it, but one thing celebs are awesome at doing are is creating a facade. After all, many of them are actors, which means they're super skilled at being somebody that they're not. Ellen might be a talk show host, but she's been on TV long enough to know how to put on a show. We wish we had the ability to become something we're not for the cameras, but the candid pictures of us on social media are proof that we're part of the common people who have no idea how to present themselves effectively.
