As reported by Love Meow, a stray cat showed up with her two kittens at the door of a resident in North Carolina. The kittens were estimated to be 4-5 months old, and the two of them along with their mom lined up by the door and looked through the glass as if they needed help and were ready to be done with outdoor life.

The resident living in the house has been caring for them ever since she spotted the cat mom walking around the area. And when they came back that fateful day, asking for help, the resident reached out to Sparkle Cat Rescue - their local rescue - in the hope of finding them new homes. As it turns out, the cat mom had a little surprise growing in her belly.

The local rescue quickly realized that the mom was pregnant with another litter. To make sure that the mom would have a safe place to give birth and raise her new baby, the reached out to their fellow rescue, Murphy's Law Animal Rescue, to find her a foster home. Her two kittens were old enough and healthy enough to find a forever home for themselves, while the mom immediately got cuddly with her new human friends.

The kittens - a brother and sister - were so similar they were nearly indistinguishable. They looked alike and also rubbed off on each other's energy. Currently, they are living in foster care through Sparkle Cat Rescue, where they are waiting to be taken into a forever home together as a pair.

The cat mom, named Ally, has turned out to be an absolute love-bug. She is constantly seeking attention from the humans around her and demanding to be petted and hugged. "Ally was instantly the sweetest girl, melting into her foster mom's lap and begging for any and all attention," Sarah Kelly, the founder of Murphy's Law Animal Rescue, said.

She added: "She is the most affectionate feline, seeking out a lap or arm or spot to cuddle up on. She is so genuinely sweet." It's obvious that momma Ally is ready to be adopted. She loves being in the company of humans, claiming all the soft things in the room and rolling around on her back while she purrs up a storm. Her favorite spot is by the window where she can bird-watch comfortably.

She is comfortable and seems pleased to be able to raise her last litter in a warm home. Whenever her foster mom comes into the room, Ally makes stops whatever she's doing and runs up to her to curl up in her arms for a nap. "Her favorite things include a warm lap, snuggles, and a loving hug. She is such a biscuit-making queen who lives for attention and affection," Sarah said. "Ally is getting in all the cuddles before she has babies to raise. She is soaking up the TLC from her foster mom."

After having been on the streets for so long, it's obvious that Ally is more than ready to be spoiled and pampered. "She is now patiently awaiting her last litter! Once they are born and weaned, mama will be spayed and vetted, and then all ready to go to her forever home." For more updates on Ally, check out Sarah's Instagram
