Absurdly Intricate Gadget Packaging Has Twitter’s Imagination Running Wild
If you happen to be a cat or a baby, the best thing about receiving a gift is often the box that it comes in. Nothing sets off the imagination like a plain cube full of packing peanuts, after all.
Consumerist garbage that we are, the rest of us don't tend to share that same sense of wonderment about whatever packaging our shiny new possessions come in. We just want to get to the goods with a minimum of fuss. That said, this doesn't mean that we can't appreciate a good example of product delivery, especially when it seems to be staring us in the face.
This was the case for @magisternihil, who found an interesting likeness in the box that had been used for the robot vacuum he had purchased. The strange resemblance fascinated a number of Twitter users, many of whom had comparisons of their own to make. While this link may not have been intentional, it certainly upped the entertainment value of buying a gadget that helps you hoover up crumbs.
