OP was thrust into a sticky situation when their boss asked them to explain a whole bunch of frivolous expenses to the company account. Unable to come up with a sufficient explanation, they were just barely able to keep their job. It was when their coworker seemed all too pleased by the outcome that they realized that something was amiss. And after just a bit of detective work, they were able to track a food delivery to discover the true culprit.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that stealing from your job isn't something that is going to make you a lot of friends. Maybe the lesson here is "if you're going to defraud your company and stick the blame on a coworker, don't make any purchases that are trackable to your home address."
