Misguided Sheltered Girl Gives Presentation on Mission to Classmate's "Normal" Hometown
This first-year college student lost himself in a fit of laughter when his classmate got up to give a presentation on her "mission trip" to his hometown.
This week, Redditor and college student u/Central-Bank-4467 shared this post to the r/AmItheA**hole subreddit, asking if he was wrong for laughing during his classmate's presentation. The truth is, he's a bit in the wrong here for interrupting her… but there is no way we would have been able to keep ourselves from laughing either in this situation. As commenters have already suggested, this is just a vacation with extra steps.
I, for one, am desperately hoping that the opportunity arises to go on an essential mission trip to Paris soon. Better yet, if all expenses are paid and covered.
This type of thing sounds like precisely the type of misguided innocence as this classmate who "saved" a goldfish by releasing it into the ocean. Some people are just in their own little worlds.
