It's not IT's fault that certain systems are set up the way they are, but much like a server getting yelled at for the chef's mistake, IT has to field the ridiculous complaints of childish office workers every day. Do people learn about their own devices to make these problems less daunting? Absolutely not, that would be insane! It's much easier to yell and scream and stamp your feet like a toddler. Something that the Karens of the world are not only adept at, but excel. They are students, masters and virtuosos of complaining.
It's weird how some people would rather abuse their coworkers than deal with a minor expected inconvenience. Karen just needed to go a little out of her way to talk to the right people and get her password reset. But instead she chose the Karen way, as is her nature. She decided that personal attacks and insults were the way to go.
Well, turns out that they record those calls. And what happens when they record those calls? IT listens to them and laughs about it.
