Cats' reputation precedes them. They are known for being lazy, for sleeping 80% of the day, eating for another 10%, using their toilet for another 5%, and licking their booties for the last 5%. Lazy. That's what they are, and we love them for it. As cat owners, we love their independence, we love their calmness. But… this reputation is not always true. In fact, 1% of a cat's time is spent on unexpected moments of madness.
In the cat world, these moments are called 'zoomies'. We don't know why they happen, we don't know what causes our cats to randomly lose their minds. All we do know is that some of the funniest things cats do happen mid-zoomies. It happens so quickly, so unexpectedly - your cat runs into the room out of nowhere, sprinting into walls, backflipping off of coffee tables, Tokyo-drifting right around you. It's purefect, it's hissterical, and we have a bunch of these moments right here for you guys.
Oh my goodness, we have had this happen with our cats before - both mid-zoomies and during regular non-crazy moments. They just love sticking their heads in things that are far too small for them and then trying and failing to get out of them. We understand why it took you so long to help, we would have been laughing too.
Oh, the number of times out cat has straight-up launched herself into glass windows and doors in our house is mildly concerning but also… hilarious. You would think she would know at this point to pause and check if the door is closed, but she's too busy trying to do a summersault off the couch and into the sun to realize.
