Ridiculous Mid-Zoomie Cat Moments: ICanHasCheezburger Edition

Every person who has ever had cats knows one thing. For being one of the laziest creatures in the world, sometimes, cats have the most random bursts of energy. They happen at the least expected moments. Cats will wake you in the middle of the night because for some reason, they will decide that is the very best time to run around attempting to catch ghosts. They will barrel across your face with no care and then they will meow at you as if you are the one who did something wrong by complaining. 

Cats are annoying little loveable hellions, and we're kinda whipped for them. That's why, when we read funny stories of the most ridiculous things cats have done mid-zoomies, we laugh instead of crying at our own pain. Because being whipped for cats means being whipped for every single part of them, even the jerk parts.

    It's moments like these when we question sanity - the cat's and ours. How's it possible that when this happens, we merely sit there, laughing, completely fine with the poop that we will have to clean by hand, somehow still awwing and thinking that cats are the purest thing in the world? How? But we do.

    Oh, we've seen that one happen so many times, and good lawd, it is hilarious every single time. Without exception, whenever that happens, we are sitting there crying. Never managed to catch this iconic moment on camera. It happens too fast and too out of the blue. If any of you guys have videos of your cats doing that, we beg you - please send them to us, we love them with our whole beings.

    Font - Marsha Mc 2am. Cat explosion heard from living room, then the thunder of galloping paws. Into my room. Up only my (very high) bed in a single bound. One touch and over to a chest in front of the window (15 feet of solid window, starting at 4 feet up, with narrow ledge). Gallop back and forth on the window ledge, somehow turning his 20+ pound body around on a 4 inch windowsill to gallop back the other way. Then curl up on the chest to sleep.     Cat - Top fan Chanda Walker We have hard wood floors. Tabitha has floofy paws. She forgets this from time to time and in mid-zoomies she will pull a 180 or the 360 while trying to stop. She has learned how to slide around corners and most chairs. Rugs still trip her up and either slides with them into the front door or walls. Turned out of the dorks somehow got his head into the handle of a grocery bag..freaked himself out and was zooming around trying to get it off while scaring himself silly.
