We never know what to expect on a first date. Perhaps there was chemistry the first time we met, but what if just gets awkward on the first date? Or what if we met through an app, and once we meet in person, the chemistry just isn't there?! There are just so many things to stress over before a first date. Something to keep in mind is that even if the date goes terribly, at least it's a good story to tell our friends later. Sometimes we think our besties want us to stay single just because the dating stories are too good to give up. Sure, relationships are adorable and stable, but they just don't make us laugh like being single does. Twitter user @mixbecca tweeted about a hilarious date she eavesdropped on while trying to write a book in a coffee shop. Instead of focusing on her book, she listened to him talk about calamari to his date, when it became clear he was actually talking about caviar.
