Cat Answers Incoming Phone Call (Video)

Cats guide to ignoring a hooman call:

 If they call you directly: walk away. If they call you by phone: pick up the phone, and then walk away

This gem of a video recently popped up on the YouTube timeline and we figured it would be a good time to revisit this classic moment. 

This video was taken in 1994, so for those who don't know what a landline phone looks like -- this is it right here! When the cat's owner used to come home, the phone would be off the hook with no explanation. 

Turns out, her cat, Pumba, couldn't stand the sound of that continuous ring and will often disable the sound by answering the phone. 

All we can say is that is one smart cat. 

It is added at the bottom of the video's description that Pumba had sadly passed away in 2011, but thanks to YouTube, "he lives to entertain us."
