Congratulations, readers. You've officially made it to the day they call "hump day," which means you're nearly over "the hump." Being over the hump (Wednesday) is supposed to mean that you're more than halfway there. Halfway towards freedom, which is supposed to come in the form of the weekend, a two-day respite from responsibility, that generally ends up being filled with responsibility. This is especially true if you're over thirty or have children to take care of. That laundry isn't going to do itself, and it's definitely not getting done after sitting in front of a screen for ten hours. But we digress.
