Job Applicant Does Dramatic Reading of Patronizing Rejection Email
For anyone without friends in high places (i.e. most of us), job applications are a necessary evil if we want to find some kind of employment. However, the process of doing them is rarely an enjoyable one. There's nothing like constantly reorganizing a list of your employable skills to fit the tiny differences of 30 identikit job adverts to make you question whether everything is all worth it.
The aftermath only makes the whole process even worse; the times when you're not met with stony silence, it's more than likely you have to face a rejection. That being said, these are rarely as memorable as one recently received by Tamsyn, allegedly after they applied for a sound designer role. Reading out the offending document on TikTok, there is something to cringe at in pretty much every sentence. It can't have been pleasant to have that land in your inbox, but at least it lets you know that it would probably have been even worse to be employed there.
